Australian Researchers’ Mobility Portal

Where can I study molecular biology in Germany? How do I find student accommodation in Cologne? How do German universities function? Deutsche Welle, Germany’s international broadcaster, has launched an internet site (www.study-in-germany.de) to provide answers to these and other questions for foreign students or academics interested in studying, teaching or researching in Germany.

The website replaces the portal www.campus-germany.de which was set up in 2001 to market German universities and research institutions worldwide. The new portal provides information in eight languages about German colleges and universities in 150 cities and towns.

“Better conditions for foreign students and the introduction of internationally recognised Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at German universities and colleges are making Germany a more attractive location for foreign students and researchers,” says Deutsche Welle’s Uta Thofern. “The study-in-germany.de portal is the right platform for providing a range of multimedia information about German universities.”
